The organization promotes professional growth, ethical practice, and patient-centered care.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Consultant Cardiologist role based at Kims Super Speciality Hospital, Bilaspur. The Consultant Cardiologist will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and critical care units. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests (such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests, and relevant imaging), formulating treatment plans, and performing indicated cardiology procedures. The role involves close collaboration with other specialists, participation in multidisciplinary case discussions, and supervision of junior medical staff. The Consultant Cardiologist will also contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, patient education, and may participate in teaching and mentoring activities within the hospital.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine with proven clinical experience in internal or general medicine relevant to cardiovascular care.Specialized expertise in Cardiology, including diagnosis and management of acute and chronic cardiac conditions.Competence in Interventional Cardiology procedures appropriate to a super speciality setting (e.g., coronary interventions) and related peri-procedural care.Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine applications in cardiology (e.g., nuclear stress tests) and familiarity with Vascular diagnostics and treatments for peripheral vascular disease.Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology (DM, DNB, or equivalent) and valid medical registration/license as per regulatory requirements.Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, with strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.Clear, empathetic communication skills for interactions with patients, families, and colleagues, and commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice.Willingness to participate in continuous professional development, hospital quality programs, and teaching or mentoring of trainees.
