We're Hiring | Consultant Cardiologist📍 Location: Dubai💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiologist with American Board Certification to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai, UAE.The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular diseases, with strong clinical experience in advanced cardiac diagnostics, preventive cardiology, and complex cardiovascular conditions. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical judgment, leadership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered cardiac care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with cardiovascular diseases and disordersEvaluate and manage coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, hypertension, valvular heart disease, and cardiomyopathiesConduct detailed cardiovascular assessments, including medical history, physical examination, risk stratification, and diagnostic evaluationInterpret advanced cardiac investigations, including ECG, echocardiography, stress testing, Holter monitoring, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoringPerform and interpret transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and other cardiac imaging investigations within authorized clinical privilegesDevelop individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditionsManage patients presenting with acute coronary syndromes, cardiac arrhythmias, decompensated heart failure, and other cardiac emergenciesProvide evidence-based management of cardiovascular risk factors, including hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes-related cardiovascular complications, and obesityAssess patients for advanced cardiac investigations and interventions, coordinating referrals when clinically indicatedParticipate in multidisciplinary cardiac care involving interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, and other specialistsProvide pre-operative cardiovascular assessments and cardiac risk evaluations for patients undergoing surgical proceduresMonitor treatment outcomes and adjust therapeutic plans according to patient response and current clinical guidelinesProvide preventive cardiology consultations and educate patients regarding cardiovascular health, lifestyle modification, and long-term disease managementSupervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and other clinical team membersMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with DHA regulations, clinical governance, and patient-safety standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, teaching, and CME activitiesContribute to the development and improvement of cardiology services and evidence-based clinical protocolsRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent recognized medical degreeRecognized postgraduate training in Internal Medicine, followed by appropriate subspecialty training in Cardiovascular Disease / CardiologyAmerican Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM) is mandatoryCompletion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship or equivalent recognized trainingMinimum 5-10 years of relevant post-specialization clinical experience in Cardiology is preferredStrong expertise in diagnosing and managing complex cardiovascular conditionsDemonstrated competence in echocardiography, cardiac diagnostics, cardiovascular risk assessment, and evidence-based cardiac treatmentExperience working in established cardiology departments or advanced cardiovascular care centersEligible for DHA Consultant Cardiologist classification/license in Dubai, subject to applicable UAE PQR qualification and experience requirementsExcellent clinical judgment, leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits packageMedical insuranceAnnual paid leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law and facility policyProfessional development and CME opportunitiesModern, well-equipped cardiology facilities with advanced cardiac diagnostic technologiesCollaborative multidisciplinary healthcare environmentLicensing assistance available for eligible candidates
