About the CompanyStafmed is currently recruiting an experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for a rewarding full-time opportunity with a leading healthcare facility in the UAE.About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled and forward-thinking psychiatrist with strong expertise in assessing and treating complex mental health conditions affecting children and adolescents.The successful candidate will join a collaborative multidisciplinary service committed to delivering exceptional, evidence-based and family-centred mental healthcare.ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions in children and adolescentsTreat mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, autism-related conditions, psychosis and behavioural disordersManage complex, high-risk and safeguarding casesDevelop comprehensive and individualised treatment plansProvide pharmacological and psychotherapeutic interventionsCollaborate with psychologists, paediatricians, social workers, therapists and educational teamsSupport families through clear communication and structured care planningParticipate in clinical governance, teaching and service developmentQualificationsBoard certification in Psychiatry with subspecialty certification in Child and Adolescent PsychiatryRecognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST or an equivalent recognised qualificationMinimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experienceEligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH or MOHAPRequired SkillsExtensive child and adolescent mental health experienceStrong risk-assessment and safeguarding expertiseExperience managing complex neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditionsExcellent family communication and multidisciplinary collaborationStrong clinical leadership, empathy and decision-making skillsCompensationAn excellent tax-free package will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
