Neotia Getwel focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary setting, providing career opportunities for medical professionals seeking growth in a well-equipped clinical environment.Role Description The Consultant Critical Care will provide comprehensive clinical care to patients in the intensive care unit (ICU), including assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and ongoing management of critically ill individuals. Responsibilities include leading the critical care team, overseeing treatment plans, coordinating with consultants from other specialties, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and hospital guidelines. The role involves participation in clinical rounds, documentation, quality improvement initiatives, and involvement in emergency response and resuscitation efforts. The Consultant will also contribute to staff training, mentoring junior doctors, and supporting patient and family communication regarding prognosis and care plans. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Neotia Getwel Multispecialty Hospital in Siliguri.Qualifications DM or DrNB (Critical Care )Candidates should possess strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, with experience managing a broad range of complex and critically ill patients.Candidates should possess Training and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide junior medical staff, nurses, and other team members in critical care protocols .Current medical registration with statutory councils, along with strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
