personalized metabolic care.About the RoleWe are looking for a passionate and experienced Consultant Doctor to become an integral part of our growing clinical team based at our Sakinaka, Mumbai office.In this role, you will provide medical consultations, evaluate patient eligibility for obesity and metabolic treatment programs, prescribe evidence-based therapies, monitor clinical progress, and work collaboratively with nutritionists and health coaches to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.This is an opportunity to practice modern, technology-enabled medicine while helping patients transform their lives through sustainable metabolic care.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Consultations• Conduct comprehensive consultations for patients enrolled in MetaGo's metabolic health programs.• Evaluate patient history, BMI, laboratory investigations, metabolic markers, and lifestyle factors.• Diagnose obesity-related metabolic conditions and recommend appropriate treatment pathways.• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans.Medical Management• Assess eligibility for GLP-1 receptor agonist therapy and other evidence-based treatment options.• Prescribe and manage medications including Semaglutide (Rybelsus®, Ozempic®), Tirzepatide (Mounjaro®), and other clinically appropriate therapies.• Monitor treatment effectiveness, medication tolerance, adverse effects, and clinical progress.• Recommend and interpret laboratory investigations to optimize patient outcomes.• Modify treatment plans based on patient response and evolving clinical needs.Patient Education & Counseling• Educate patients about obesity as a chronic metabolic disease.• Explain treatment options, expected outcomes, medication usage, potential side effects, and longterm health benefits.• Counsel patients on nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and sustainable lifestyle changes.• Motivate patients to achieve long-term adherence and lasting behavioural change.Collaborative Care• Work closely with nutritionists, health coaches, care coordinators, and the broader clinical team.• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.• Contribute to continuous improvement of MetaGo's clinical protocols and patient experience.• Ensure seamless patient care across every stage of the treatment journey.Clinical Documentation• Maintain accurate electronic medical records.• Ensure timely documentation of consultations, prescriptions, treatment plans, and follow-ups.• Adhere to clinical governance standards, ethical medical practices, and applicable telemedicine regulations.What We're Looking ForMandatory Qualifications• MBBS with a valid National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council registration.• MD / DNB / Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related specialty.• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience managing patients with obesity, diabetes, or metabolic disorders.• Excellent clinical judgment and patient-first approach.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience in one or more of the following will be preferred:• Obesity Medicine• Metabolic Health• Diabetes
