Consultant Endocrinology

Role Description The Consultant Endocrinology role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, providing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with endocrine disorders. Responsibilities include conducting outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations, managing conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders, and metabolic bone disease. The consultant will interpret laboratory and imaging results, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinate multidisciplinary care with other specialists. Daily tasks also involve maintaining accurate medical records, adhering to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards, participating in case discussions and quality improvement initiatives, and contributing to patient education and preventive care programs.QualificationsCompleted specialty training in Endocrinology and Diabetes (or equivalent), with board certification or eligibility as an Endocrinology Consultant.Valid medical degree (MBBS or MD) from a recognized institution and eligibility to obtain, or possession of, a DHA or related UAE medical license.Proven clinical experience managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders, including complex and chronic cases.Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based practice skills, including familiarity with current endocrine guidelines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in a culturally diverse setting.Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, continuous quality improvement, and adherence to local regulatory requirements.Interest in teaching, mentoring junior medical staff, and participating in professional development or research activities is an advantage.
