The consultant will provide expert endocrine care, including outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and management of complex endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and coordinating multidisciplinary care with other specialties. The role also involves supervising junior medical staff, participating in case discussions and clinical meetings, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements. The consultant is expected to maintain accurate medical documentation, support patient education, and promote continuous improvement in endocrine services.QualificationsAdvanced clinical expertise in endocrinology, including diagnosis and management of diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and metabolic disorders.Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and individualized treatment planning.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and coordinate care across departments.Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous professional development, and quality improvement in clinical services.Excellent communication skills for patient counseling, education, and interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.Relevant medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with recognized specialty training and board certification in Endocrinology, or equivalent credentials.Valid license or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Consultant Endocrinologist in the UAE.Experience working in tertiary or referral hospitals is highly beneficial; prior experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
