The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and high-quality surgical outcomesKey Responsibilities Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck disordersPerform elective and emergency ENT surgical procedures within the scope of clinical expertiseDiagnose and manage conditions affecting the ear, nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, pharynx, larynx, and upper airwayPerform appropriate ENT surgeries, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS)Diagnose and manage chronic sinusitis, nasal obstruction, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, and other rhinological conditionsEvaluate and manage hearing loss, chronic ear infections, tinnitus, vertigo, and balance disordersPerform otological procedures, including tympanoplasty, mastoid surgery, and other ear surgeries where appropriately trainedAssess and manage voice disorders, swallowing difficulties, vocal cord lesions, and laryngeal conditionsPerform diagnostic nasal endoscopy, flexible laryngoscopy, and other ENT examinationsEvaluate and manage head and neck masses, salivary gland disorders, thyroid-related surgical conditions, and airway abnormalities within the scope of practiceProvide comprehensive pre-operative assessment, surgical planning, informed consent, and post-operative follow-upManage ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, airway obstruction, foreign bodies, and acute ENT infectionsInterpret relevant investigations, including CT, MRI, audiometry, tympanometry, and endoscopic findingsCollaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, neurologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and other multidisciplinary specialistsSupervise and mentor junior physicians and surgical team membersEducate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, recovery, and preventive careMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance, infection control, and patient-safety standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activitiesRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT / Head and Neck SurgeryBoard certification or equivalent recognized consultant qualificationFellowship or advanced subspecialty training in ENT Surgery is highly desirableMinimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience in ENT SurgeryStrong clinical and surgical experience in managing complex ENT conditionsDemonstrated competence in endoscopic sinus surgery, otological procedures, and general ENT surgical interventionsExperience in both adult and pediatric ENT conditions is highly desirableEligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai, subject to applicable qualification and experience requirementsExcellent surgical, clinical, communication, leadership, and patient-management skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits packageMedical insuranceAnnual paid leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law and facility policyProfessional development and CME opportunitiesModern, well-equipped surgical facilities and advanced ENT diagnostic equipmentCollaborative multidisciplinary healthcare environmentLicensing assistance available for eligible candidates
