The successful candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care services, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of acute and chronic medical conditions across all age groups.Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive family medicine and primary healthcare services for individuals and families. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical practices. Conduct preventive health assessments, wellness screenings, and routine medical examinations. Manage chronic diseases including: Diabetes Mellitus Hypertension Cardiovascular diseases Asthma and respiratory conditions Thyroid disorders Metabolic and lifestyle-related conditions Provide health education, preventive counseling, vaccinations, and lifestyle modification guidance. Deliver holistic care including women's health, men's health, adolescent care, and geriatric care. Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists when required. Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with DOH standards and healthcare regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CME activities, and departmental meetings. Support teaching, mentoring, and development of junior medical staff where applicableRequirementsQualifications & Requirements MBBS/MD or equivalent medical qualification. Board Certification / Fellowship / recognized postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine. Minimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience at Consultant level. Eligibility for or possession of a Department of Health (DOH) - Abu Dhabi Consultant license. Strong clinical expertise in primary care, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based, patient-focused healthcare. Preferred Candidate Profile Western-trained or internationally recognized Family Medicine qualification preferred. Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals, clinics, or primary healthcare centers. UAE or GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
