Consultant Family Medicine

Role Description The Consultant Family Medicine role is a full-time, on-site position located in Dubai. The consultant will provide comprehensive primary care services to individuals and families, including health assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care across all age groups. Daily responsibilities include managing patient consultations, reviewing medical histories, prescribing appropriate medications, coordinating referrals to specialists, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role involves promoting health education, supporting chronic disease management, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. The consultant will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, adhere to regulatory and licensing requirements, and participate in case discussions and professional development activities.QualificationsStrong Case Management skills, including coordinating care plans, follow-up, and referrals for diverse patient populations.Experience or familiarity with Social Services and Community Outreach to support patients’ access to resources and preventive programs.Foundational knowledge in Psychology to address behavioral health concerns and provide holistic, person-centered care.Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completion of specialty training in Family Medicine; board certification or equivalent is preferred.Demonstrated clinical experience in primary care, including chronic disease management, preventive medicine, and acute care.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and culturally sensitive care skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
