This environment offers medical professionals the opportunity to contribute to both patient care and quality enhancement initiatives.Role Description The Consultant Gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive gastroenterology and hepatology care to inpatients and outpatients, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, interpreting results, and coordinating multidisciplinary care with other specialists. The role also involves participating in ward rounds, case discussions, and clinical decision-making, as well as maintaining accurate medical records and adherence to hospital protocols and quality standards. The Consultant Gastroenterologist will engage in patient education, counseling, and follow-up management to ensure continuity of care. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital in Faridabad.Qualifications Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Gastroenterology, with the ability to manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver conditions.Proficiency in Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and interpretation of findings.Specialized knowledge in Hepatology for the evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic liver diseases.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification (MD/DNB in Medicine) and DM/DNB in Gastroenterology or equivalent.Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a specialist gastroenterologist.Strong clinical judgment, adherence to evidence-based practice, and commitment to patient safety and quality care.Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and focus on patient-centered care.Previous experience in a tertiary care or multispeciality hospital setting is preferred.
