The organization emphasizes affordable, high-quality care and is committed to continuously improving processes and standards to ensure services are delivered correctly the first time.Role Description The Consultant Gastroenterologist will provide specialized outpatient and inpatient care for patients with gastrointestinal, liver, and related conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, interpreting diagnostic tests, performing endoscopic procedures, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The role also involves coordinating multidisciplinary care, counseling patients and families, maintaining detailed medical records, and contributing to quality improvement and clinical governance activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Batra Heart & Multispeciality Hospital in Faridabad, with expectations for participation in ward rounds, emergency calls, and departmental meetings.QualificationsStrong clinical foundation in Medicine and Gastroenterology, with demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.Proficiency in Endoscopy and Capsule Endoscopy, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed safely and in accordance with established protocols.Competence in Hepatology, including assessment and management of acute and chronic liver conditions and coordination of multidisciplinary care.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine, with super-specialization (DM/DNB or equivalent) in Gastroenterology.Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice as a specialist; prior experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital is highly desirable.Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and commitment to ethical practice.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, participate in teaching or clinical mentoring, and engage in continuous professional development.
