Consultant General Physician (MD/DNB Medicine)

Our Consultants serve as clinical anchors, ensuring continuity, compliance, and compassionate care in fast-paced, high-impact environments.Role & ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient general medicine consultations across acute, subacute, and chronic conditions.Diagnose and manage common and complex internal medicine cases including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, GI disorders, and electrolyte imbalances.Collaborate with specialists for timely referrals, coordinate multidisciplinary care plans, and ensure seamless patient transitions.Prescribe, monitor, and adjust pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies per national and international guidelines.Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records using digital EMR systems and hospital protocols.Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME) events within the facility.Skills & QualificationsMust-HaveMD/DNB in Medicine (valid NMC registration mandatory)Proven clinical experience in outpatient/inpatient general medicineStrong diagnostic acumen for common internal medicine conditionsProficiency in EMR systems and digital documentationKnowledge of NMC guidelines, national treatment protocols (e.g., NCD, ICMR)Ability to manage acute medical emergencies and stabilize patientsCommunication skills for patient counseling and interdepartmental coordinationPreferredExperience in multi-specialty hospital setupsBasic procedural skills (e.g., IV access, pleural tap, lumbar puncture)Teaching or mentoring residents/fellow physiciansBenefits & Culture HighlightsCompetitive remuneration with performance-linked incentivesAccess to CME, clinical guidelines, and specialist peer networksFlexible scheduling with structured work-life balanceSkills: general,patient counseling,medicine,skills,basic,access,dnb
