Using audio, video, and electronic connectivity, off-site clinicians provide continuous surveillance, clinical decision support, and timely interventions for critically ill patients. eNext ICU is committed to high-quality, cost-effective care, focusing on optimal clinical outcomes, accessibility, and a strong value system for both clients and patients.Role Description The Consultant Intensivist will provide comprehensive critical care management for ICU patients supported by eNext ICU, ensuring timely clinical decisions and evidence-based interventions. Daily responsibilities include assessing patients, formulating and updating treatment plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and guiding junior clinicians and nursing teams. The role involves active participation in remote monitoring workflows, collaborating with tele-ICU teams, reviewing clinical data and alerts, and communicating effectively with on-site hospital staff to optimize patient outcomes. The Consultant Intensivist will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols, and documentation standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gorakhpur.QualificationsAdvanced clinical expertise in critical care medicine, including diagnosis, stabilization, and ongoing management of critically ill patients.Strong skills in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and use of ICU technologies and devices.Proficiency in interpreting complex clinical data, laboratory results, imaging, and electronic health records for rapid decision-making.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams, tele-ICU staff, and hospital stakeholders.Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to evidence-based clinical protocols and guidelines.Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment with sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with completed post-graduate training in Anesthesiology, or equivalent, plus DrNB/ IDCCM or formal fellowship or certification in Critical Care/Intensive Care.Valid medical license and eligibility to practice as an Intensivist in the region; prior experience in ICU or tele-ICU settings is highly beneficial.
