Accord aims to be a leading provider of independent healthcare, maintaining rigorous standards of quality and patient outcomes.Role Description The Consultant Medical Oncology role is a full-time, on-site position based at Accord Superspeciality Hospital in Faridabad. The consultant will provide comprehensive oncology care, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and administration of chemotherapy and other systemic therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient and inpatient consultations, managing oncologic emergencies, coordinating multidisciplinary care with other specialists, and participating in tumor boards. The role involves supervising junior medical staff and providing clinical training, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and hospital policies. The consultant is expected to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, maintain accurate medical records, and engage in patient and family counseling regarding treatment options and prognosis.Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Medical Oncology, with the ability to manage complex oncologic cases.Experience collaborating and Working with Physicians across specialties, including Cardiology and other relevant departments for comprehensive patient care.Competence in Emergency Medicine principles, particularly in recognizing and managing oncology-related emergencies.Demonstrated ability in Training and mentoring residents, junior doctors, and clinical staff.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD / DNB in Internal Medicine and DM / DNB in Medical Oncology or equivalent, as per regulatory requirements.Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice in India.Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills, with a patient-centered approach.Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines, clinical protocols, and use of hospital information systems.Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and participation in clinical audits or research activities.
