About the CompanyStafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Neonatologist for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE.About the RoleWe are seeking a distinguished Consultant Neonatologist with extensive expertise in the care of newborns, including premature and critically ill neonates. The successful candidate will join a progressive clinical environment committed to delivering advanced, evidence-based neonatal care.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of neonatesManage premature, low-birth-weight, and critically ill newbornsProvide advanced neonatal intensive careManage neonatal emergencies and complex medical conditionsPerform and oversee neonatal procedures within the candidate’s area of expertiseProvide respiratory support and manage neonatal complicationsDevelop personalised, evidence-based treatment plansMonitor neonatal growth, development, and clinical progressCollaborate with pediatricians, obstetricians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teamsParticipate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiativesSupport departmental education, teaching, and service developmentQualificationsBoard certification in Neonatology / Pediatrics with recognised Neonatology subspecialty trainingRecognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, German Facharzt, French DES, or an equivalent recognised qualificationMinimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in NeonatologyStrong clinical experience in neonatal intensive care and management of critically ill newbornsEligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAPRequired SkillsComprehensive experience in Neonatology and neonatal intensive careExpertise in managing premature and critically ill newbornsStrong knowledge of neonatal emergencies and complex neonatal conditionsExperience with neonatal procedures and advanced life supportStrong clinical decision-making and patient management skillsExcellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skillsStrong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and quality of careCompensationAn attractive tax-free package will be offered based on qualifications, clinical expertise, and experience.
