Consultant Neurology

QualificationsSpecialist training and board certification in Neurology or equivalent, with substantial experience in managing a broad range of neurological conditions.Valid medical degree (MD or MBBS) and completion of recognized residency/fellowship in Neurology.Proficiency in neurological examination, diagnostic reasoning, and interpretation of neuroimaging, EEG, EMG, and other relevant investigations.Strong skills in patient-centered communication, including explaining complex neurological conditions and treatment plans in a clear, empathetic manner.Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including neurosurgery, rehabilitation, nursing, and allied health professionals.Commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and participation in audits, quality improvement, and risk management initiatives.Experience in teaching and mentoring junior doctors or medical students, and willingness to contribute to continuous professional development activities.Adaptability to a multicultural clinical environment, with respect for diverse backgrounds and adherence to non-discriminatory, ethical medical practice.
