Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Summary A leading private hospital in the UAE is seeking a Western-qualified Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to provide comprehensive care for women across pregnancy, childbirth, and all stages of reproductive health. The role includes managing high-risk pregnancies, performing obstetric and gynaecological procedures, and delivering evidence-based, patient-centred care. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions. Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including high-risk pregnancy management. Conduct normal and assisted deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies. Perform caesarean sections and other relevant obstetric and gynaecological procedures. Diagnose and treat menstrual disorders, infertility-related conditions, and other gynaecological concerns. Perform appropriate diagnostic and operative procedures, including hysteroscopy and laparoscopy where trained. Collaborate with midwives, neonatologists, fertility specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives. Medical degree with recognized postgraduate specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Consultant-level qualification such as UK CCT/CCST, Irish CSCST, American Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Canadian Royal College certification (FRCSC), Australian/New Zealand specialist fellowship (FRANZCOG), or an equivalent recognized qualification . Extensive experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, including labour ward management and operative procedures. Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies. Experience in a tertiary hospital or leading private hospital is preferred. Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
