Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Oral Surgeon to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and surgically treating diseases, injuries, and defects affecting the mouth, jaws, teeth, and facial structures. The ideal candidate should possess excellent surgical skills, a patient-focused approach, and a commitment to providing high-quality oral healthcare services.Key Responsibilities:Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with oral and maxillofacial conditions.Perform surgical procedures including:Impacted tooth and wisdom tooth extractionsDental implant placementBone grafting proceduresCorrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery)Treatment of oral pathology and cystsFacial trauma and reconstructive proceduresEvaluate patients using diagnostic imaging such as X-rays, CT scans, and other radiographic techniques.Administer local anesthesia, sedation, and coordinate general anesthesia when required.Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery to ensure optimal outcomes.Manage postoperative care and address any complications that may arise.Collaborate with general dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards.Stay updated with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery through continuing education and professional development.Requirements:Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.Specialized training and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is preferred.Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience as an Oral Surgeon.Proficiency in dental implantology, oral surgery, and facial trauma management.Strong knowledge of oral pathology, anatomy, and surgical techniques.Excellent communication and patient management skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.Benefits:Competitive Salary PackagePrivate Health InsuranceAnnual Leave and Public HolidaysProfessional Development and Training OpportunitiesPerformance-Based IncentivesSupportive and Collaborative Work EnvironmentIf you are a dedicated Oral Surgeon committed to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care, we invite you to apply and become part of our growing healthcare team.
