Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the CompanyStafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE.About the RoleWe are seeking a distinguished Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting adults and/or paediatric patients. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic care, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques, evidence-based treatment approaches, and surgical expertise to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.The successful candidate will join a progressive healthcare environment committed to clinical excellence, advanced orthopedic services, and improving patient mobility, function, and quality of life.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive orthopedic assessment, diagnosis, and management of patientsDiagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal, bone, joint, and soft-tissue conditionsPerform and oversee orthopedic surgical procedures within the candidate’s area of expertiseManage complex orthopedic conditions requiring multidisciplinary carePerform appropriate pre-operative and post-operative assessment and managementDevelop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based guidelinesManage sports injuries, degenerative joint conditions, fractures, and other orthopedic disordersUtilize advanced diagnostic and imaging techniques to support clinical decision-makingCollaborate with radiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, and other multidisciplinary teamsParticipate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiativesSupport medical education, training, and departmental developmentQualificationsBoard certification in Orthopedic Surgery or equivalentRecognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, German Facharzt, or an equivalent recognised qualificationMinimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Orthopedic SurgeryEligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAPRequired SkillsExtensive experience in Orthopedic SurgeryExpertise in diagnosing and managing a broad range of musculoskeletal conditionsStrong surgical expertise within the candidate’s subspecialtyExperience in managing complex orthopedic casesStrong clinical decision-making and surgical skillsAbility to perform evidence-based orthopedic procedures safely and effectivelyExcellent communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teamsCommitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and continuous quality improvementAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environmentCompensationAn attractive tax-free package will be offered based on qualifications, clinical expertise, subspecialty, and professional experience.
