The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the assessment and multidisciplinary management of acute and chronic pain, with advanced skills in interventional pain procedures and comprehensive pain-management strategies.Key Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose patients with acute, chronic, neuropathic, musculoskeletal, and cancer-related painDevelop individualized, evidence-based pain-management plansPerform interventional pain procedures using appropriate image-guidance techniquesManage spinal, joint, neuropathic, and musculoskeletal pain conditionsPerform procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural injections, facet joint interventions, radiofrequency procedures, and other advanced pain interventions within scope of practiceProvide comprehensive pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain managementAssess and manage complex and refractory pain conditionsWork closely with anesthesiologists, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physiotherapists, psychologists, and other specialistsProvide perioperative and acute pain management when requiredSupport multidisciplinary pain-management and rehabilitation programsCounsel patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, and self-management strategiesMonitor treatment response and adjust management plans accordinglyMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with patient-safety and clinical governance standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement, education, and research activitiesRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, or a related specialtyFellowship or advanced training in Pain Medicine / Interventional Pain Management preferredBoard certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualificationMinimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience in Pain Medicine or a relevant specialty with significant pain-management experienceStrong experience in interventional pain procedures and image-guided techniquesExperience managing complex chronic pain and multidisciplinary pain conditionsEligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in DubaiExcellent clinical, communication, and patient-management skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits package.Medical insurance.Annual paid leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law and facility policy.Professional development and CME opportunities.Modern multidisciplinary clinical environment.Licensing assistance available for eligible candidates.
