Applicants join a technology-driven, quality-focused environment committed to accurate and timely diagnostics.Role Description The Consultant Pathologist will work full time on-site at Marvel Path Lab’s facility in Gurugram. Responsibilities include reporting on routine and specialized pathology tests, reviewing histopathology slides, correlating clinical and laboratory findings, and ensuring accuracy and reliability of diagnostic reports. The role involves supervising laboratory processes, participating in quality assurance activities, validating new tests or methodologies, and collaborating with clinicians to guide patient management. The Consultant Pathologist will also provide technical guidance to laboratory staff, support continuous improvement in workflows, and adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards.Qualifications Strong foundation in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, with the ability to interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests.Proficiency in Histology and core Laboratory Skills, including sample handling, processing, and slide review.Relevant medical qualification (e.g., MD / DNB in Pathology or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Experience in high-volume diagnostic laboratories, preferably in pathology or related medical specialties.Commitment to quality, safety, and adherence to laboratory standards and accreditation requirements.Effective communication skills for interaction with clinicians, laboratory teams, and administrative staff.Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and contribute to collaborative, multidisciplinary workflows.Familiarity with laboratory information systems and digital reporting platforms is an advantage.
