The successful candidate will provide advanced critical care services, utilizing evidence-based practices, advanced monitoring techniques, and multidisciplinary approaches to deliver high-quality care for complex pediatric cases. The successful candidate will join a progressive healthcare setting committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centred pediatric intensive care services.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive critical care management for critically ill pediatric patients in the PICUManage complex medical, surgical, and post-operative pediatric intensive care casesPerform and oversee advanced critical care procedures and interventionsManage respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, trauma, and multi-organ dysfunction in pediatric patientsProvide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative critical care supportDevelop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based guidelinesCollaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomesParticipate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiativesSupport medical education, training, and departmental developmentQualificationsBoard certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine / Pediatric Intensive CareRecognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualificationMinimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Pediatric Intensive CareEligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAPRequired SkillsExtensive experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)Expertise in managing critically ill pediatric patientsAdvanced airway and respiratory support managementExperience with pediatric emergency and critical care proceduresStrong clinical decision-making and leadership skillsExcellent communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilitiesStrong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and quality improvementCompensationAn attractive tax-free package will be offered based on qualifications, clinical expertise, and experience.
