We're Hiring | Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist📍 Location: Dubai💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care to infants, children, and adolescents, with a focus on the diagnosis and management of pediatric eye disorders and the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage pediatric ophthalmic conditions, including strabismus, amblyopia, refractive errors, congenital eye disorders, and pediatric cataractsConduct comprehensive eye examinations for infants, children, and adolescentsPerform and interpret pediatric ophthalmic assessments and diagnostic investigationsManage complex pediatric eye conditions and develop individualized treatment plansPerform appropriate pediatric ophthalmic procedures and surgeries within the scope of practiceProvide surgical and non-surgical management of strabismus and other pediatric eye disordersCollaborate with pediatricians, neonatologists, neurologists, and other specialists when requiredCounsel parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up careMaintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policiesParticipate in multidisciplinary clinical discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching activities where applicableRequirementsQualificationsMedical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institutionRecognized postgraduate qualification in OphthalmologyAdditional fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus is highly desirableEligible for or holding a valid DHA Consultant license/eligibility in the relevant specialtyDemonstrated experience in pediatric ophthalmology, including the management of complex casesStrong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and communication skillsAbility to work effectively with children, parents, and multidisciplinary teamsCommitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional developmentBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageProfessional working environment in DubaiOpportunities to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare teamAccess to modern clinical facilities and diagnostic resourcesOpportunities for professional growth and development
