We're Hiring | Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon📍 Location: Dubai💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic and surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents, managing congenital, developmental, traumatic, and acquired musculoskeletal conditions.Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage pediatric orthopedic conditions in infants, children, and adolescentsPerform elective and emergency pediatric orthopedic procedures within the scope of practiceManage congenital and developmental conditions, including limb deformities, developmental dysplasia of the hip, clubfoot, and limb-length discrepanciesEvaluate and treat pediatric fractures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal traumaProvide surgical and non-surgical management of pediatric spinal, hip, knee, foot, and limb conditionsPerform appropriate reconstructive, corrective, and minimally invasive procedures where qualifiedConduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care and rehabilitation planningDevelop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's age, condition, and functional needsCollaborate with pediatricians, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionalsProvide consultations and second opinions for complex pediatric orthopedic casesCounsel parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and expected outcomesMaintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policiesParticipate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching activities where applicableRequirementsQualificationsMedical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institutionRecognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery, in accordance with applicable UAE licensing requirementsAdditional fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery is highly desirableEligible for or holding a valid DHA Consultant license/eligibility in the relevant specialtyDemonstrated experience in pediatric orthopedic diagnosis, treatment, and surgical proceduresStrong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with children and their familiesAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare teamCommitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional developmentBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageProfessional working environment in DubaiOpportunities to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare teamAccess to modern surgical facilities and diagnostic resourcesOpportunities for professional growth and development
