About the CompanyStafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Pediatric Plastic Surgeon for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE.About the RoleWe are seeking a distinguished Consultant Pediatric Plastic Surgeon with extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing congenital, reconstructive, and complex plastic surgical conditions in pediatric patients. The successful candidate will provide advanced surgical care, utilizing evidence-based practices and modern reconstructive techniques within a multidisciplinary pediatric healthcare environment. The successful candidate will join a progressive healthcare setting committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred pediatric plastic surgery services.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage a wide range of congenital, traumatic, and acquired pediatric plastic surgery conditionsPerform complex reconstructive and corrective surgical procedures in pediatric patientsManage congenital anomalies, craniofacial conditions, cleft lip and palate, burns, and soft tissue defectsProvide comprehensive pre-operative, operative, and post-operative patient careDevelop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and evidence-based practiceCollaborate with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomesParticipate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiativesSupport medical education, teaching, and departmental developmentQualificationsBoard certification in Plastic SurgeryRecognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, or an equivalent recognised qualificationFellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Plastic Surgery is preferredMinimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Pediatric Plastic SurgeryEligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAPRequired SkillsComprehensive experience in Pediatric Plastic SurgeryExpertise in pediatric reconstructive and corrective proceduresStrong surgical and clinical decision-making skillsExperience managing complex pediatric surgical casesExcellent communication and patient-care skills with children and familiesStrong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and quality improvementCompensationAn attractive tax-free package will be offered based on qualifications, surgical expertise, and experience.
