We're Hiring | Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist📍 Location: Abu Dhabi💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide specialized care for children and adolescents with rheumatologic, autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage pediatric patients with rheumatologic and autoimmune conditionsEvaluate children with inflammatory joint, muscle, bone, and connective tissue disordersManage conditions including juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile lupus, vasculitis, and other pediatric rheumatologic disordersDevelop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response and disease progressionPrescribe and monitor appropriate pharmacological and biologic therapiesCoordinate care with pediatricians, immunologists, orthopedists, physiotherapists, and other specialistsProvide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and long-term disease managementParticipate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetingsMaintain accurate and comprehensive medical recordsEnsure compliance with clinical guidelines, patient-safety standards, and UAE healthcare regulationsParticipate in clinical audits, quality-improvement programs, and continuing medical educationRequirementsQualificationsMedical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognized institutionRecognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics with fellowship or subspecialty training in Pediatric RheumatologyRelevant post-specialization clinical experience as required under UAE PQR guidelinesValid professional license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain DOH licensing in Abu DhabiProven experience managing pediatric rheumatologic and autoimmune conditionsStrong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication skills, particularly with children and their familiesAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare teamBenefitsCompetitive salary packageFull-time consultant position in Abu DhabiProfessional and multidisciplinary working environmentOpportunities for career development and professional growthSupport with the UAE licensing process, where applicable
