Consultant Pediatrician

Stafmed is currently recruiting a highly experienced Consultant Pediatrician for an exciting full-time position with a leading hospital in the UAE.About the RoleWe are seeking a distinguished Consultant Pediatrician with extensive experience in providing comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of pediatric conditions, with a strong focus on patient-centred care and clinical excellence.The successful candidate will join a progressive healthcare environment committed to clinical excellence, patient safety, multidisciplinary collaboration, and high-quality pediatric care.Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage infants, children, and adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions
• Provide comprehensive pediatric consultations and ongoing patient management
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and patient needs
• Manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Monitor growth, development, and overall health
• Provide preventive care, including routine health assessments and vaccination guidance
• Recognize and manage pediatric emergencies when required
• Provide guidance and support to parents and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric specialists, nursing, and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to the development and implementation of pediatric clinical protocols and standards
• Support medical education, training, and professional development within the departmentQualifications
• Board certification in Pediatrics or equivalent recognised qualification
• Recognised Tier 1 qualification, including ABMS, Canadian Royal College certification, UK CCT/CCST, European Board, or equivalent recognised qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialisation experience in Pediatrics
• Eligibility for Consultant-level licensing with DHA, DOH, or MOHAPRequired Skills
• Extensive experience in general pediatric medicine
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Experience managing acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Excellent communication and counselling skills with children and families
• Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
