Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of mental health conditions while providing patient-centered psychiatric care.Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and clinical evaluations. Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Provide medication management and monitor treatment response. Manage complex and long-term psychiatric cases. Provide appropriate crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care. Offer psychotherapy or coordinate psychological interventions where appropriate. Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options and ongoing care. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives. RequirementsQualifications & Requirements MBBS or equivalent medical degree. MD/DNB/MRCPsych or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry. Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level. Strong experience in managing complex psychiatric conditions. Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
