The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in radiation therapy, cancer treatment planning, and the management of patients with solid tumors and selected hematological malignancies, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive consultation, assessment, diagnosis, and radiation oncology management for patients with malignant conditionsEvaluate patients with solid tumors, including breast, lung, prostate, gastrointestinal, gynecological, head and neck, and central nervous system cancersDevelop individualized radiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical assessment, tumor staging, imaging, pathology, and multidisciplinary recommendationsPrescribe and oversee external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) using modern radiation treatment techniquesPlan and supervise advanced radiotherapy techniques, including IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, and SRS, where appropriately trainedPerform or supervise brachytherapy procedures where appropriately trained and authorizedCoordinate radiation treatment simulation, contouring, target-volume delineation, and dose prescriptionCollaborate with medical physicists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists to ensure accurate treatment planning and deliveryEvaluate and manage patients receiving curative, adjuvant, neoadjuvant, and palliative radiotherapyMonitor treatment response, radiation-related toxicities, and potential complicationsManage acute and late radiation side effects and provide appropriate supportive careParticipate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and contribute to comprehensive cancer treatment planningCoordinate combined-modality treatment with medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, and other specialistsReview relevant investigations, including CT, MRI, PET-CT, pathology reports, and molecular diagnostic findingsProvide long-term follow-up, surveillance, and survivorship care for patients undergoing radiation therapyEducate patients and families regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, potential side effects, and follow-up careSupervise and mentor junior physicians, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionalsEnsure compliance with radiation safety, treatment quality assurance, clinical governance, and patient-safety standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, teaching, research, clinical trials, and CME activitiesRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Radiation Oncology / RadiotherapyBoard certification or equivalent recognized consultant qualificationFellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology is highly desirableMinimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience in Radiation OncologyStrong clinical experience in managing patients with solid tumors and delivering modern radiotherapy treatmentsDemonstrated competence in radiotherapy planning, target-volume delineation, treatment prescription, and radiation toxicity managementExperience with IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SBRT, or SRS is highly desirableExperience in multidisciplinary cancer care and advanced radiotherapy technologiesEligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in Dubai, subject to applicable qualification and experience requirementsExcellent clinical judgment, communication, leadership, and patient-management skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits packageMedical insuranceAnnual paid leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law and facility policyProfessional development and CME opportunitiesModern radiation oncology facilities with advanced radiotherapy technologyCollaborative multidisciplinary cancer care environmentLicensing assistance available for eligible candidates
