Applicants joining the team will be part of an organization focused on continuous improvement and community health.Role Description The Consultant Radiologist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bijapur. The Consultant Radiologist will interpret imaging studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other diagnostic modalities, and provide clear, timely reports for referring clinicians. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and validating imaging protocols, supervising imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and collaborating closely with physicians and technicians. The role involves participating in clinical case discussions, advising on appropriate imaging investigations, and supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The Consultant Radiologist is expected to contribute to workflow optimization, maintain documentation, and uphold patient-centered care and confidentiality.Qualifications Strong foundation in clinical Medicine and patient care, with the ability to correlate imaging findings with clinical presentations.Demonstrated expertise in Radiology and Medical Imaging, including the interpretation of X-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies.Knowledge and experience in Nuclear Medicine, including appropriate use of radionuclide imaging and safety protocols.Proficiency in Mammography and breast imaging, with skills in screening and diagnostic assessments.Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent) and valid medical registration.Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems, digital imaging workflows, and standard reporting formats.Attention to detail, strong analytical and decision-making skills, and commitment to quality and patient safety.Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with clinicians and technical staff.Willingness to work in a fast-paced diagnostic environment and adapt to evolving technologies and protocols.
