The team values collaboration between clinicians and diagnostic specialists to support better clinical decision-making and patient outcomes.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Consultant Radiologist role based in Jaisalmer. The Consultant Radiologist will interpret imaging studies such as X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and other diagnostic modalities, and provide clear, concise reports to referring clinicians. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, ensuring appropriate imaging protocols, supervising imaging procedures when required, and participating in multidisciplinary case discussions. The role involves maintaining high standards of image quality, adhering to safety and radiation protection guidelines, and contributing to continuous improvement of diagnostic workflows. The Consultant Radiologist will also support junior staff through guidance, participate in quality assurance activities, and help implement evidence-based radiology practices.Qualifications Relevant medical degree (MBBS) with postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD, DNB, or equivalent).Valid medical license/registration to practice radiology in India.Strong clinical radiology skills, including interpretation of X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, with attention to diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.Experience using radiology information systems (RIS), PACS, and digital reporting tools.Ability to collaborate effectively with referring physicians, technical staff, and other healthcare professionals.Good communication skills for explaining findings and participating in case discussions.Commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory patient care and adherence to national and local regulatory standards.Experience in a hospital or diagnostic center setting is preferred; exposure to semi-urban or rural healthcare environments is an advantage.Willingness to work full-time on-site in Jaisalmer and contribute to the development of local radiology services.
