We're Hiring | Consultant Rehabilitation Medicine📍 Location: DUBAI💼 Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are looking for an experienced Consultant Rehabilitation Medicine physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and comprehensive rehabilitation of patients with neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and other disabling conditions.Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive assessment and management of patients requiring medical rehabilitationDevelop individualized rehabilitation plans based on clinical assessment, functional needs, and patient goalsManage patients with stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and neurological disordersEvaluate and manage musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions affecting mobility and functionManage patients with chronic pain, spasticity, and physical disabilitiesProvide rehabilitation management for patients following trauma, surgery, and major medical conditionsAssess functional limitations and coordinate appropriate therapeutic interventionsManage spasticity using pharmacological and interventional approaches where appropriately trainedPerform or coordinate procedures such as botulinum toxin injections, joint injections, nerve blocks, and other rehabilitation-related interventions within scope of practiceWork closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionalsCoordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation programs and monitor patient progressProvide guidance on mobility, assistive devices, prosthetics, orthotics, and functional independence where appropriateProvide patient and family education regarding rehabilitation goals, prognosis, and long-term managementMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient-safety standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activitiesRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation / Rehabilitation MedicineBoard certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualificationMinimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience in Rehabilitation MedicineStrong experience in neurological, musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and functional rehabilitationExperience managing complex rehabilitation cases and multidisciplinary programsExperience in spasticity management and interventional rehabilitation procedures is highly desirableEligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in DubaiExcellent clinical, communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits packageMedical insuranceAnnual paid leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law and facility policyProfessional development and CME opportunitiesModern multidisciplinary rehabilitation environmentLicensing assistance available for eligible candidates
