The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnosing and managing autoimmune, inflammatory, musculoskeletal, and rheumatic diseases, with a patient-centered approach to long-term careKey ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and management of rheumatological conditionsDiagnose and manage rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and other inflammatory arthritis'sEvaluate and manage systemic autoimmune and connective tissue disorders, including lupus, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, and vasculitisAssess patients presenting with joint pain, swelling, stiffness, fatigue, and other musculoskeletal symptomsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, laboratory investigations, and imagingManage advanced therapies including biologic and targeted treatments where clinically appropriateMonitor disease activity, treatment response, medication safety, and potential complicationsPerform or coordinate appropriate joint and soft-tissue procedures, including injections, where within scope of practiceProvide comprehensive management of osteoporosis and metabolic bone conditions where appropriateWork closely with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, pain specialists, dermatologists, nephrologists, pulmonologists, and other multidisciplinary specialistsProvide patient education regarding disease management, medication adherence, lifestyle modification, and long-term careMaintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient-safety standardsParticipate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, research, and CME activitiesRequirementsQualificationsMBBS/MD or equivalent medical degreeRecognized postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology or Internal Medicine with Rheumatology specializationBoard certification or equivalent recognized specialist/consultant qualificationMinimum 5-10 years of post-specialization experience in RheumatologyStrong clinical experience in autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal diseasesExperience with biologic, immunomodulatory, and targeted therapies is highly desirableExperience managing complex multisystem rheumatological conditionsEligible for DHA Consultant classification/license in DubaiExcellent clinical, communication, and patient-management skillsBenefitsCompetitive salary and attractive benefits package.Medical insurance.Annual paid leave and other benefits as per UAE Labour Law and facility policy.Professional development and CME opportunities.Modern multidisciplinary healthcare environment.Licensing assistance available for eligible candidates.
