About the jobHorwath HTL is a global leader in tourism, hospitality and leisure consulting, with more than 50 offices worldwide.Due to the continued growth of our Zagreb office and South-East Europe practice, we are looking for an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our team.The successful candidate will work on a diverse portfolio of tourism, hospitality, destination development and real estate advisory assignments for public and private sector clients in Croatia and internationally.The opportunityYou will work independently and as part of multidisciplinary project teams, with responsibility for defined project workstreams and direct involvement with clients.Your key responsibilities will include:Conducting and structuring market, strategic and business analysisTaking ownership of defined project workstreams from analysis through to preparation of client-ready outputsContributing to tourism and destination strategies, hospitality and mixed-use development projects, feasibility studies, market assessments and development conceptsTranslating complex market and business issues into clear findings, implications and recommendationsDeveloping analytical frameworks, hypotheses and approaches to solving client problemsPreparing and reviewing high-quality reports, presentations and data visualisationsWorking directly with clients through meetings, interviews, workshops and presentationsCoordinating defined project activities and supporting the work of junior team membersContributing to proposals, pitches, research and other business development activitiesSupporting senior team members in developing client relationships and identifying new opportunitiesParticipating in domestic and international assignmentsContributing actively to the continued growth and development of Horwath HTL's South-East Europe practiceMinimum requirementsUniversity degree in economics, business, tourism, hospitality, real estate, finance or another field relevant to our workApproximately 2–5 years of relevant professional experienceExperience in management consulting, tourism/hospitality advisory, real estate advisory or another analytical and project-based professional environmentDemonstrated ability to independently structure and deliver analytical workExperience preparing professional client-facing reports and presentationsStrong command of MS PowerPoint and ExcelFluency in Croatian and English is mandatoryIdeal skills and competencesExcellent analytical, problem-solving and structured-thinking capabilitiesAbility to move from analysis to clear strategic conclusions and recommendationsStrong commercial awareness and understanding of business driversExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation, report-writing and data visualisation capabilitiesAbility to independently manage defined workstreams, priorities and deadlinesConfidence in interacting directly with clients and other senior stakeholdersAbility to guide and support junior members of project teamsHigh level of personal responsibility, attention to detail and quality orientationFlexible and adaptive approach, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaborativelyGenuine interest in tourism, hospitality, destination development and the wider visitor economyWillingness to participate in domestic and international assignmentsWhat we offerResponsibility for meaningful workstreams from an early stageExposure to complex and high-profile tourism, hospitality and destination development projectsDirect interaction with senior decision-makers across both private and public sectorsInternational assignments and collaboration with Horwath HTL offices and experts worldwideA high degree of exposure to senior leadership within a specialist advisory environmentOpportunities to develop across strategy, destination advisory, hospitality and real estateA clear path towards increased project and client responsibilityA dynamic, collaborative and entrepreneurial working environmentCompetitive employment package
