Key Responsibilities

Independently perform open and laparoscopic GI surgeriesManage surgeries involving stomach, intestine, colon, rectum, gallbladder, liver and pancreasManage emergency GI surgical casesPre-operative assessment and post-operative managementHandle OPD/IPD and surgical consultationsCoordinate with Gastroenterology, Critical Care, Radiology and Anaesthesia teamsParticipate in multidisciplinary case discussionsMaintain surgical documentation and clinical protocolsKey Skills Required:Strong independent surgical decision-makingGood laparoscopic skillsAbility to independently handle emergency surgical casesExperience in complex GI proceduresGood patient communication and team-management skillsIdeal Candidate: A MCh/DrNB Surgical Gastroenterologist with 3+ years post-qualification experience, who is confident in independently operating and managing GI surgical cases.
