Consultant Visceral Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Visceral Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in the surgical management of gastrointestinal and abdominal conditions, with strong experience in open and minimally invasive surgical procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and surgically manage complex gastrointestinal and abdominal conditionsPerform elective and emergency visceral surgical proceduresManage conditions involving the stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and other abdominal organsPerform laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures where appropriateManage acute abdominal emergencies, including intestinal obstruction, perforation, and other complex surgical conditionsConduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and develop individualized surgical plansProvide postoperative care and monitor patient recoveryManage surgical complications and coordinate follow-up careCollaborate with gastroenterologists, oncologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other specialistsCounsel patients and families regarding treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and recoveryMaintain accurate clinical and surgical documentationRequirementsQualifications & RequirementsMBBS or equivalent medical degreeMS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in General Surgery / Visceral SurgerySignificant post-specialization experience at Consultant levelStrong experience in gastrointestinal and abdominal surgeryExperience in laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures is an advantageExcellent surgical judgment, technical skills, and clinical decision-making abilitiesStrong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skillsBenefitsPrivate Health InsuranceTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus
