Consumer Insights Manager (Global) | Remote, UK or Netherlands | Up to £75,000 base + benefitsNicholson Glover is working with a fast-growing, PE-backed global consumer brand in personal care to find a Consumer Insights Manager. The business is household-name territory in its category. It is now growing into new markets, and insight feeds straight into the executive team. This is a hands-on global role reporting to the Strategic Insights Director. You will own the consumer side of the insight agenda. That means understanding consumers' needs, tensions and behaviour well enough to shape brand, portfolio and innovation decisions, and then proving whether those decisions worked. In practice you will:Build and run the end-to-end insight roadmap, from framing the business question and writing the brief through to the recommendation.Lead brand health tracking and marketing effectiveness work, and turn it into advice the brand team acts on.Put research to work across the whole innovation funnel, from opportunity spotting and concept development to stage-gate validation and post-launch learning.Manage a roster of research and data agencies with a sharp eye on value, and bring in newer approaches, including AI-enabled tools, where they make insight faster or better.Work with Global Brand, Innovation, Regional Marketing and Shopper Insight colleagues so the consumer view is in the room early. We are looking for at least five years in consumer insight on the client side, in FMCG, consumer goods or consumer health. You will have a solid grounding in both qual and quant, understand the say/do gap, and tell a clear story to senior, non-technical audiences. People who like pace, can live with some ambiguity and would rather make progress than polish will do well here. Agency experience is welcome, but you will need a client-side role behind you as well. The role is fully remote. Ideally you will be based in the UK or the Netherlands, though France, Germany and Poland are also possible. You must already have the right to work in your country of residence, because sponsorship is not available. Travel is light, and UK colleagues meet in person once a month. The process is three online stages: an interview with the hiring manager, a case study presentation to a panel, and a final conversation with the CMO.To find out more, contact Francis at Nicholson Glover on francis@nicholsonglover.co.uk, or apply via LinkedIn.
