Job Title: Copy EditorDepartment: Content / Marketing / CommunicationsLocation : Dubai,UAESalary : AED 22000-25000Job Summary: The Copy Editor is responsible for reviewing, editing, and proofreading written content to ensure it is clear, accurate, engaging, consistent, and aligned with the company’s tone and brand guidelines. Key Responsibilities:Edit and proofread articles, website content, marketing materials, reports, social media content, and other written materials.Prepare market oriented articles for use in for broadcasting or publications, create a content for marketing materials, write compelling content.Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and formatting errors.Work closely with writers, content creators, graphic designers, designers, and marketing teams.Ensure content follows company style guides and editorial standards.Manage multiple editing assignments while meeting deadlines.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in copy editing, proofreading, content writing, journalism, or a similar role.Excellent command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.Good research and fact-checking abilities.Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, CMS platforms, and editing/proofreading tools is an advantage.Ideal Candidate: A detail-oriented and highly proficient English communicator who can transform written content into polished, professional, and engaging material while maintaining the intended message and brand voice.
