Take India’s incredible regional food culture and make it exciting, accessible and relevant to a new generation.And we’re looking for someone who can be a big part of that story — including being in front of the camera..What you'll actually be doingYou will be responsible for creating short-form video content end-to-end.💡 1. COME UP WITH THE IDEAYou should be able to look at a product, situation, trend or random thought and say:“Wait… this could be a Reel.”You'll:Brainstorm Reel conceptsFind interesting hooksDevelop simple scripts/storylinesAdapt trends to the Shahi Serve brandThink about what will actually make someone stop scrolling🎥 2. BE IN THE VIDEOYes, you may have to be on camera.We want creators who are comfortable:Talking to cameraHosting videosDoing food reactionsExplaining productsTelling storiesTrying different personalities/formatsBeing natural rather than sounding like they're reading a corporate scriptYou don't need to be an influencer.You do need to be comfortable being yourself on camera.📱 3. SHOOT THE CONTENTYou should be comfortable picking up a phone/camera and actually making the shot happen.You'll:Shoot yourself and othersFrame shotsWork with basic lightingShoot food/product B-rollCapture BTS and spontaneous momentsExperiment with different camera angles and formatsYou don't need a Hollywood production setup.An Phone + good lighting + good ideas > expensive camera + boring content.✂️ 4. EDIT THE REELYou should be able to take your raw footage and turn it into a finished, publish-ready Reel.You'll work on:Cutting and pacingHooksCaptions/subtitlesMusic & sound effectsTransitionsB-rollZooms/cutsStorytellingTrending formatsTools can include CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or whatever you use to make good stuff.We care about the output, not which software you use.The ideal candidateYou might be our person if:You spend way too much time on Reels — and actually notice why certain videos workYou're comfortable being in front of the cameraYou can shoot and edit your own videosYou have a natural sense of humour/personalityYou're good at storytellingYou have strong visual tasteYou're constantly saving Reels thinking “this format could work for us”You can work independently without needing a detailed brief for every videoYou're willing to experiment and occasionally make something that completely flops 😭You're genuinely excited about food, culture, creators and the internetBonus points: acting, hosting, comedy, photography, filmmaking, food content or previous creator experience.What a typical assignment might look likeWe might say:“We want to launch our Chicken Shami Kebab. Make a Reel.”We don't expect you to wait for someone to hand you a script.You might:Concept → Hook → Script → Shoot yourself → Shoot the kebab → Edit → Add sound/captions → Final ReelThat's the job.What you'll getThis is a chance to join a brand before it becomes big.You'll get to:Build a portfolio of real, published contentBecome one of the faces of an upcoming food brandWork directly with the founderExperiment with formats and creative ideasLearn how a D2C brand is actually builtWork across food, culture, storytelling and internet contentHave your ideas actually see the light of dayPotentially grow into a full-time creator/content role as the brand scales🎯 How we'll evaluate youPortfolio > Resume.We'd much rather see 3 genuinely good Reels you've made yourself than a beautifully formatted CV.Your previous content doesn't have to be about food.It can be:Your personal InstagramCollege contentYouTube ShortsA meme/content pageVideos you've made for funBrand contentAnything that shows us you know how to createWhen you apply, send:1. Your CV2. Your Instagram / portfolio / YouTube3. 2–3 Reels you're most proud of4.
