Content Development & Instructional Design

Candidates with 5+ years of experience in instructional design, content writing, curriculum development or learning and development (L&D) with strong foundational knowledge of adult learning principles, Andragogy, the ADDIE model, Bloom’s Taxonomy and Kirkpatrick’s Evaluation Model.Hands-on experience or familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate) and advanced proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace. will be a distinct advantage.Training Needs Analysis & Stakeholder EngagementConduct Training Needs Identification (TNI) and skill-gap analyses for roles across Stores, Distribution Centres (DCs) and Head Office functions.Partner with Function Heads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define role-specific learning priorities and business objectives.Conduct field visits to Stores and DCs to observe work environments, ask targeted questions, map process interlinkages, and capture best practices and challenges.Curriculum & Content DesignDesign comprehensive, role-based curriculum structured with clear, measurable learning objectives.Develop engaging learning content, including Trainer Guides, Participant Manuals, SOPs, and Assessments, utilizing adult learning principles and varied instructional strategies (e.g., storytelling, scenarios, case studies) for both Classroom and E- Learning formats as required.Evaluation & Continuous ImprovementRefine learning modules based on pilot feedback, SME inputs, and functional performance metrics.Ensure on-time delivery and deployment of training initiatives aligned with key business priorities.Maintain strict version control and routinely update training materials to reflect operational and process changes.Key Competencies & Soft SkillsCommunication: Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, with a flair for clear, engaging content writing.Observation & Documentation: Exceptional listening, observational, and technical documentation skills with a sharp eye for detail.Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and leadership.
