We’re a tight-knit group that cares deeply about what we make and how it gets to our customers, and we’re looking to add a Content Manager & Photographer who will help shape how Croft House and our work are presented to the world.We offer competitive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid vacation and sick time, and a generous employee discount.// RoleAs our Content Manager & Photographer, you’ll be responsible for creating, organizing, and managing the visual content that represents Croft House across our website, social media, catalogs, collateral, and other brand touchpoints. This is a hands-on creative role that combines photography, image editing, content management, and brand storytelling.You’ll serve as Croft House’s internal photographer, regularly documenting our furniture, showroom, workshop, team, and day-to-day environment. Some of that work will be planned product photography, while much of it will be about recognizing and capturing the smaller moments that tell the story of how our furniture is designed, made, and lived with. You’ll also manage our social media presence, helping turn that ongoing stream of imagery into thoughtful, consistent content.Beyond creating new content, you’ll be responsible for making sure our existing visual assets are organized, accessible, and used effectively. You’ll manage image libraries, edit and retouch photography, create imagery for additional product configurations and SKUs, update website content, and help maintain catalogs and other brand materials.You’ll work closely with our Brand Team to continue developing the Croft House story and finding new ways to tell it. This role requires someone with a strong visual eye who is also highly organized and comfortable with the less glamorous—but equally important—work of maintaining a large and growing library of products, photography, and brand assets.// ResponsibilitiesOwn day-to-day visual content creation for Croft House across digital and physical channelsServe as Croft House’s internal photographer, regularly capturing candid and documentary-style photography of our workshop, showroom, offices, team, products, and processPhotograph custom and completed pieces at our Downtown Los Angeles workshop as neededEdit, retouch, color-correct, and prepare photography for use across web, social, print, and other applicationsUse Photoshop to create additional product imagery and represent product SKUs, finishes, materials, and configurations that have not been individually photographedManage Croft House’s social media presence, including planning, posting, ongoing interaction, and maintaining a consistent visual and editorial voiceWork with the Brand Team to develop content concepts and continue defining and communicating the Croft House storyIdentify opportunities to turn the people, processes, materials, products, and everyday activity at Croft House into compelling ongoing contentUpdate website imagery and content, including homepage photography, banners, collection pages, product pages, and other visual assetsManage the addition and presentation of new products across the website and related brand collateralMaintain and organize a centralized photography and image database, including product, lifestyle, process, archival, and social contentEstablish clear systems for naming, organizing, tagging, and retrieving visual assetsAssist in planning and preparing for larger lifestyle and product photoshoots, including shot planning, product coordination, props, sourcing, and shoot preparationSupport photoshoot execution and coordinate with internal teams, photographers, stylists, locations, and other creative partners as neededMaintain and update the Croft House catalog as products, photography, materials, and specifications evolveHelp maintain and develop the Croft House Brand Bible and ensure new content remains consistent with established brand standardsDevelop and update branded collateral, product labels, packaging elements, signage, and other physical brand materialsSource and coordinate potential brand partnerships, collaborations, and other content opportunitiesWork with internal and external partners to fulfill editorial, press, partnership, and other brand opportunities by sourcing and preparing appropriate imagery and assetsMaintain consistency in Croft House imagery and visual presentation across the website, social media, catalogs, collateral, and other channelsTake on additional content, photography, and brand projects as needed// Personal AttributesStrong visual eye and genuine interest in design, furniture, architecture, photography, and visual cultureCreative and curious, with an instinct for recognizing interesting moments and stories worth capturingHighly detail-oriented, particularly when it comes to imagery, color, composition, typography, and visual consistencyEqually comfortable creating new work and organizing, editing, and maintaining existing contentSelf-motivated and proactive, with the ability to identify content opportunities without waiting for an assignmentHighly organized and capable of managing a large volume of photography, products, projects, and deadlinesComfortable moving between a workshop, showroom, office, and photoshoot environmentCollaborative and able to work closely with designers, craftspeople, sales teams, and outside creative partnersAble to take creative direction while also bringing ideas and a distinct point of view to the workReliable and consistent, with strong follow-throughComfortable managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyInterested in understanding Croft House deeply enough to communicate not just what we make, but how and why we make it// SkillsStrong photography skills, including experience photographing products, interiors, people, environments, or related subjects. High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including retouching, color correction, compositing, image cleanup, and preparing imagery for both digital and print applications. Experience managing social media for a brand, studio, or other visually driven organization, including content planning, posting, and community interaction. Strong understanding of image composition, lighting, color, and visual storytelling. Comfortable managing website content and product imagery; experience with Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform is a plus. Experience organizing and maintaining large digital asset libraries, with an understanding of file naming, image organization, metadata, and asset management. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and experience producing or updating catalogs, presentations, signage, labels, and other branded collateral. Able to prepare photography appropriately for web, social, and print use. Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate photoshoots and creative projects from preparation through final asset delivery. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across creative, production, sales, and outside partners. Experience with furniture, interiors, architecture, fashion, or another design-driven industry is a plus.Compensation: $70k-$80k
