- Analyse customer requirements for continuous extrusion and continuous processing.
- Evaluate raw-material characteristics including particle size, bulk density, moisture, flowability, temperature sensitivity and composition.
- Review feed-rate requirements and consistency of solid and liquid feed streams.
- Support technical selection of single-screw or twin-screw extrusion concepts where applicable.
- Evaluate screw configuration and processing-zone requirements.
- Review conveying, kneading, mixing, dispersion and transformation requirements within the extrusion process.
- Analyse barrel temperature profiles and product temperature.
- Evaluate pressure development and process stability.
- Support optimisation of screw speed and throughput.
- Analyse residence time and its impact on final product characteristics.
- Evaluate torque and specific mechanical energy requirements.
- Support integration of powder and liquid feeding systems.
- Review gravimetric and volumetric dosing requirements.
- Support continuous blending and ingredient incorporation processes.
- Evaluate upstream raw-material handling and downstream process requirements.
- Support downstream operations including cooling, cutting, shaping, drying or further processing where applicable.
- Participate in pilot trials and process-development activities.
- Review trial data and support industrial scale-up.
- Identify potential process issues such as inconsistent feeding, excessive shear, overheating, pressure instability, poor mixing or unstable throughput.
- Coordinate technical discussions between customers, application specialists and international equipment manufacturers.
- Support preparation of technical specifications, questionnaires and process-data sheets.
- Participate in technical project reviews and equipment-selection discussions.

- Specialty formulations𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞We are looking for a genuinely technical process engineer with practical understanding of continuous processing and extrusion systems.The ideal candidate should understand that extrusion performance depends on the interaction between raw-material properties, feeding accuracy, screw geometry, shear, temperature, pressure, residence time and downstream requirements.Candidates should be able to analyse process data, identify the causes of unstable processing and communicate technical requirements effectively with both industrial customers and engineering teams.Candidates whose experience is predominantly general sales, administration or non-technical business development are unlikely to be suitable for this position.𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.Minimum 3 years of relevant industrial or process-engineering experience preferred.Practical experience with extrusion, continuous processing, compounding or related industrial equipment is strongly preferred.Understanding of powder feeding, dosing and material-handling systems.Ability to analyse technical process parameters and production data.Understanding of heat and mass transfer is an advantage.Ability to read P&IDs, process diagrams and technical equipment documentation.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Ability to communicate effectively with international engineering and manufacturing teams.Excellent written and spoken English.𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞
