We are committed to:ExcellenceResponsibilityEmpowermentConnectivityCourageRole Overview:The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for the formation, administration, and management of contracts and subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable regulations, and project procedures.
Responsibilities
Manage the formation and administration of contracts and subcontracts, including pre-qualification, preparation of bid requests, receipt and evaluation of bids, contract award, and post-award administration.Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Administer back charges, variations, change orders, claims, and contractual disputes.Review, evaluate, and negotiate change orders and contract amendments.Prepare and manage contractual correspondence, notices, and supporting documentation.Support the resolution of claims and disputes in accordance with contract provisions.Manage prime contracts as well as subcontract formation and administration.Coordinate contractual matters with engineering, construction, commercial, and project management teams.Ensure compliance with applicable contracting practices, government and commercial procurement regulations, policies, procedures, and work practices.Maintain proper contract records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Support planning and scheduling activities related to contractual requirements and obligations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Minimum 15 years of experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator on major projects.Strong experience in contract and subcontract formation and administration within the engineering and construction industry.Demonstrated experience in pricing, contract law, contract drafting, claims, change orders, and contract negotiations.Thorough knowledge of prime contract administration and subcontracting procedures for multidisciplinary construction projects.Strong knowledge of government and commercial procurement regulations and contracting practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
