Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Purpose To support the administration and management of construction contracts, ensuring proper contractual documentation, correspondence, compliance, and follow-up throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister construction contracts and maintain proper contractual records and documentation.Prepare and review contractual correspondence, notices, and responses to contractors and consultants.Review contract documents and support the interpretation of contractual requirements and obligations.Assist in identifying and monitoring contractual risks and key contractual deadlines.Review variations and support the assessment of their contractual merits.Assist in reviewing and assessing claims related to Extension of Time (EOT) and additional payments.Support the preparation of counterclaims where applicable.Assist in drafting contract amendments, MOUs, and settlement agreements.Maintain records of contractual notices, variations, claims, and related correspondence.Coordinate with project, commercial, planning, and construction teams on contractual matters.Support the Contracts Manager in the day-to-day administration of project contracts.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in contract administration within the construction industry.Good knowledge of construction contracts and contract administration.Experience with FIDIC contracts is required.Strong contractual drafting and correspondence skills.Good command of English.Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
