Contract Consultant

Our client, a leading Saudi Arabian hospital, is seeking a Contracting Consultant to provide expert advice and support on all contracting matters, ensuring that contracts are aligned with the organisation’s goals and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in optimising contract management processes and fostering strong stakeholder relationships to ensure efficient procurement contract development.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement innovative contracting strategies that align with the organisation’s long-term objectives.Enhance the organisation’s contract management processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contractual agreements to protect the organisation’s interests.Foster a culture of continuous improvement in contracting practices through regular training and updates on best practices.Review complex purchase requisitions and ensure compliance with procurement requirements.Develop and review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with organisational standards.Provide guidance on contractual issues to various departments.Negotiate contract terms with suppliers and vendors to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation.Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for potential contractual risks.Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation.Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any deviations or issues.Analyse contracting data to identify cost-saving opportunities.Ensure timely renewal and amendment of contracts as required.Experience Required16+ years of experience in Supply Chain Contracting or a related contracting/procurement field.Education and QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.LanguagesEnglish (Advanced)Why Apply?This is an opportunity to contribute to strategic procurement and contracting excellence within a leading organisation.
