The company empowers businesses to operate efficiently both locally and globally, while contributing to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 through advanced logistics services.About the RoleThe role involves managing various logistics and supply chain projects, focusing on solution design, project management, continuous improvement, technology integration, and team leadership.ResponsibilitiesSolution Design & RFQ Engineering Tasks RFQ Analysis & Commercial Feasibility: Analyze incoming RFQs from prospective clients to extract critical operational data (inventory volumes, throughput, SKU counts, and SLAs) and translate them into competitive pricing models, commercial proposals, and cost-benefit analyses that align with profitability targets.Calculate end-to-end operational requirements, including required warehouse square footage, racking configurations (e.g., selective, drive-in), and material handling equipment (MHE) needs.Design optimal warehouse layouts and workflows to maximize space utilization and minimize travel time.Build comprehensive cost models (CapEx and OpEx) and budgets for new projects, covering labor, equipment, licensing, and facility overheads.Project Management & Implementation Tasks Act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all contract logistics and warehouse implementation projects, managing stakeholder communication from kickoff to go-live.Create detailed project plans, timelines (Gantt charts), and milestones for new warehouse setups or major operational re-engineering projects.Manage cross-functional project teams (including IT, HR, Procurement, and Operations) to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.Mitigate project risks and resolve escalated issues, conflicts, or bottlenecks on the floor during the transition phase.Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence Tasks Launch and lead Lean / Six Sigma programs across the shop floor to identify and eliminate operational waste.Conduct time-and-motion studies to analyze current operational bottlenecks and design re-engineered workflows for higher productivity.Establish and roll out a KPI dashboard to track and evaluate critical warehouse metrics (e.g., Picking Accuracy, Dock-to-Stock time, Inventory Accuracy, Order Fill Rate).Draft, review, and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and step-by-step workflows to ensure 100% compliance with customer requirements.Technology & WMS Integration Tasks Assess and audit current warehouse technologies and research next-generation solutions (e.g., AGVs, pick-to-light, automated sorting) to see if they fit client needs.Partner with the IT department to lead the technical deployment, configuration, and testing of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Map data flows between client ERP systems and the internal WMS to ensure seamless order processing and real-time inventory tracking.Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management Tasks Conduct training sessions for warehouse supervisors and floor staff on newly implemented SOPs, WMS features, and safety standards.Mentor and motivate team members, addressing staff performance challenges or resistance to change during project rollouts.Present project updates, KPI reports, and financial reviews to senior leadership and client stakeholders, managing expectations and negotiating contract updates when necessary.QualificationsEducation: Mechanical Engineer or Industrial EngineerExperience: 4 to 8 Years and demonstrated ability to lead end to end contract logistics projects.Required SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.Preferred SkillsExperience with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Equal Opportunity StatementNAQEL Express is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
