Contract Management Specialist

Key Requirements:We are seeking an experienced Contract Management Specialist with a strong background in procurement and contract management within the government or public sector.The ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in contract management and procurement.Previous experience working within a government organisation.A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.Proven expertise in Strategic Sourcing and Category Management, particularly for infrastructure projects and infrastructure maintenance.Strong experience in Spend Analysis and Cost Optimisation initiatives.Comprehensive knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management, including supplier classification, pre-qualification, performance management, and risk management.Hands-on experience using Oracle Fusion Procurement.Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and manage infrastructure tender and contract documentation.Experience preparing and issuing procurement documents, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), and Invitations to Bid (ITBs).Strong market research and analytical skills to monitor industry trends, supplier markets, and pricing.Experience developing procurement policies, sourcing strategies, and cost optimisation initiatives aligned with organisational objectives.Ability to develop and implement Procurement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to enhance collaboration with internal stakeholders.Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
