The successful candidate will oversee all post-contract activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring effective commercial, contractual, and financial control in line with FIDIC Conditions of Contract and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all post-contract activities from contract award through close-outLead budget and financial management, including cost control, forecasting, and reportingManage cost claims, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, variation orders, and dispute resolution processesApply value management principles to optimize project outcomes and control costsSupport project planning activities in coordination with the planning and engineering teamsContribute to construction estimation and tendering processes as requiredManage contracts and consultancy agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligationsOversee project budget allocation and resource planningProvide overall contract-related project management supportManage Schedule of Rates (SOR) and target cost frameworksAdminister contracts in accordance with FIDIC Conditions of Contract (Red Book / Yellow Book, as applicable)Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders on all contractual mattersIdentify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the projectPrepare and review contractual correspondence, notices, and claim submissionsQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or a related fieldMinimum 15-20 years of experience in contracts management within the construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectorsProven experience with FIDIC Conditions of Contract administrationStrong track record managing EOT claims, variation orders, and dispute resolution on large-scale projectsPrior experience on Supervision Consultancy assignments preferredExperience within the UAE / GCC construction market, particularly on mega infrastructure or major industrial development projects, is highly desirablePrevious Aldar approval is preferredSkills & CompetenciesStrong commercial and financial acumenIn-depth knowledge of FIDIC contract forms and their practical applicationExcellent negotiation and dispute resolution skillsStrong analytical and cost management capabilitiesProficiency with contract management and planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong stakeholder management and leadership abilitiesCertifications (Preferred)Professional qualification such as MRICS, RICS, FIDIC-accredited training, or equivalentPMP or relevant project management certification is an advantageAdditional InformationWork Location: Mafraq Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi, UAEAssignment Duration: Minimum 2 yearsEmployment Type: Full-time, project-based assignment
