Apply & track with Apply EdgePosition PurposeThe Contract Manager (Facilities Management) is responsible for overseeing contracts throughout their complete lifecycle, from planning, drafting and negotiation through execution, administration, compliance, renewal, closeout or termination. The role ensures that contracts protect the organization's commercial, legal and operational interests while supporting business objectives and applicable requirements.The Contract Manager provides disciplined contract governance, maintains accurate and auditable records, monitors obligations and performance, manages changes and commercial exposure, and coordinates the timely resolution of contractual matters. The role serves as the principal point of contact for contract-related issues and works closely with legal, procurement, finance, operations and project teams.Key Responsibilities1. Reporting, Analysis and Continuous ImprovementQualifications and Education• Bachelor's degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.• A master's degree, MBA or postgraduate qualification in contracts, commercial management or law is preferred.• Professional certification such as MRICS, MCIPS, PMP, CPCM, CCM or an equivalent credential is preferred.• Formal training in contract law, claims management, negotiation or dispute resolution is advantageous.Experience Requirements• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in contract administration, contract management or commercial management.• Demonstrated experience managing contracts across the full lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, administration, change control, claims and closeout.
